Revision of the Word
It's sad that the revisionist has destroyed much of the history that we learned back in the good old days. A revisionist according to the dictionary is an advocacy of the revision of an accepted, usually long-standing view, theory, or doctrine, especially a revision of historical events and movements. In other words a revisionist is someone who rewrites and redefines history.
The Bible and historical Christianity is being rewritten and redefined right before our eyes by the revisionist. New translations, commentaries, seminaries and preachers are bent on destroying orthodox Christianity by rewriting and redefining what was traditionally accepted, established and approved as right and true.
There are churches today who have left orthodox doctrines and Christianity behind to accept new doctrines written by revisionist. The things which were once good are called evil and the things which were once evil, they now call good. The Lord has a word for them: "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" Isaiah 5:20
The word woe in the above Scripture can be translated doomed. The churches who no longer preach against sin are usually filled with people who attend to have their ears tickled and MANY of them will be doomed. Yes, I capitalized MANY and for a reason. Notice the first word in Matthew 7:22-23, "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." So these doomed people are church goers, preachers, miracle workers, exorcist, and they claimed to have done many wonderful works in Jesus name. DECEPTION! That's right, people who were deceived by those who redefine and rewrite Christianity. They heap to themselves teachers having itching ears.
Here is a good example of what I'm talking about. Romans one, verses 26-27, For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.
The above Scripture was without debate until the late 20th century to the present. Christians in most all denominations have historically maintained that this verse is a complete prohibition of all forms of homosexual activity. But some 20th and 21st-century revisionist who are redefining Christianity contend the passage is not a blanket condemnation of homosexual acts.
I consider myself the chief of sinners. I know me and the only good thing in me is Jesus. When I sin, I don't try to condone it or find a church that does. I'm convicted and I repent. I will go to heaven one day but it won't be because I'm good, it will be because of the grace of God.
Don't condone sin in your life, confess it for what it is, sin. The Bible says, that if we confess our sins, God will forgive us and cleanse us of all unrighteousness. Do not be deceived and stray from the OLD PATHS for a new, modern day, so called Christianity. Paul told Timothy to stay with the stuff he learned as a child. Notice what Paul said in 2 Timothy 3, 13 But evil people and impostors will flourish. They will go on deceiving others, and they themselves will be deceived. 14 But you must remain faithful to the things you have been taught. You know they are true, for you know you can trust those who taught you. 15 You have been taught the Holy Scriptures from childhood.
It's one thing to rewrite and redefine the events at the Alamo but woe to the one's guilty of committing this evil with God's word and church! Stay on the right path! God Bless!
