If you are a Christian, you need to understand that we are in a continual battle against our adversary, the devil, a spirit being whose sole purpose is to cause havoc for each of us. God has a goal for each of our lives and the devil also has a goal and that is to get us off track of God's plan for our lives.
At the Judgement Seat of Christ only Christians will be judged there. They will ether receive reward or lose reward. It’s not a judgement of heaven or hell that has already been settled. The Judgement Seat of Christ is judging our works after salvation. But the GREAT WHITE THRONE, you don’t want to be found at that judgment. Only the lost will be there.
We live in an age where so many of God’s people feel weak and powerless. I am not talking about being wimpy with no backbone, that’s another sermon. In our verse and text that surrounds it, we are see Paul’s so-called thorn in the flesh.
Everywhere Jesus went He drew a crowd. It’s like, everyone wanted a piece of Jesus. But in the text in Luke 8, we have a determined father named Jairus who had a daughter who was on the brink of death, and he begged Jesus to come to his house.
MATTHEW 24:12 “And because lawlessness (wickedness) will abound (increase), the love of many shall grow cold.” We’ve seen wickedness increase over the past 50 years but the last 8 years it has spiraled out of control just like Noah’s day.
Every morning before I start my day I spend time with the Lord in prayer. I pray for both a National and Personal Revival. If you are not seeking God for revival, please start today and make it a part of your daily prayers. When we seek God for revival, we must not forget that turning from our sins is a very important step.
The Divinity of Christ has been slandered and attacked from the very start of His ministry here on earth. Is He the Son of God? Is He God or a created being? I have a friend who was invited to preach at a certain church but was told that he couldn’t say anything about the Trinity or Jesus Being God.
This is message number 4 on the end time signs that are not always talked about in prophecy.
1. The Scattering/Shattering of The Holy Peoples Power.
2. The Sealed Words Unveiled.
3. The Seduction, The Great Falling Away.
4. The Strong Delusion to Believe A Lie

We are looking at 4 end time signs that are not mentioned in studies as much as the more popular one’s. Last Friday we looked at the powerless church, The Scattering/Shattering of The Power of The Holy People.
I will take three or four days for this mini sermon. I will attempt to share 4 signs of the last days that we see happening right before our 21 century eyes.
Some people are investing in their own lives instead of the Kingdom of God. Everything is about pleasure, money and fame. Nothing wrong with those things if they are kept in control. The Bible does warn us against the love for these things, putting them before God.
This is a shortened version of a sermon that I preached years ago at Snyder, Texas: “The Man of Iron”. David had been dethroned by his son Absalom and he had to leave his beloved city Jerusalem on the run. Before the rebellion, Absalom had been undermining his father by lying to the people about his father David and doing favors for the people in his own name
In our text we are introduced to Jairus, a leader in a local synagogue who normally would not want to identify with Jesus. In his position he selected those who would read and teach and made sure everything was done in the approved way.
In 1775, just before America would become an independent nation, there were many who feared not knowing the future of their independence. But there were many brave men during that time like Paul Revere who were committed to fight for their freedom and to warn others
I’ve taken excerpts or bits and pieces of a sermon I preached a few years back. I hope it makes sense to you since I can’t give the whole sermon.
When I have an opportunity to lead someone to Christ, I want to make sure they understand the gospel. I want them to also understand that what we call the sinner’s prayer won’t save them. Just going through the motions of saying a prayer won’t save a person.
The men who followed David probably didn’t understand his attitude and they may have been somewhat confused and a little puzzled. These were men who had followed him when he was leading the armies of Israel into battle.
In Friday’s post I talked about panic and fear. I had someone ask a personal question on how to get rid of fear. That my friends is the title of this message, “casting out fears. The apostle John wrote in 1 John 4:18, “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.”
Praise God for a shiny day. It is sad that so many have lost their lives and many others have lost personal properties in past floods. I’ve watched several rescues from different news stations and thought about the fear many experienced before being rescued just before their vehicles were swept away.
